“Hey Erica, the biz is treating me fine.  We are knee-deep in production on second season right now.  I’m story editor this time round and writing 3 out of 13 episodes, so I can’t complain too much.  It’s a lot to handle, but I like to look at it as my boot camp. Not many story editors have the opportunity to be as involved/write as many scripts as I do on a show.”

— Sarah Nicole Jones Story Editor on Longmire

Gina Kelly resized“Erica, I did a rewrite on my Shameless spec, implementing your notes and adding scenes.  I found out yesterday that I placed in the top ten in the UCLA Extension Television Writing Competition!!  Thank you so much for all of your help and encouragement.  I recommend your class every chance I get.”

Kieran Turner “Erica, I’ve created an online comedy series Wallflowers, which chronicles the lives and loves of a Manhattan support group for people who can’t get dates. After a successful first season on Blip TV,  my show was acquired by the new Broadway-based web channel Stage 17, where Season Two premieres in March 2014.  In addition, I’ve written, produced, and directed a documentary, Jobriath A.D., which chronicles the life of ‘70s glam rock musician Jobriath, the first openly gay rock star, which was released theatrically in January 2014.”  – Kieran Turner
